I am talking here now that how a Factory offered to his new client a ‘Product’ with cheaper price from repeating order’s Factory.  I remembered about first shipment of three model of ‘Insect Killer’ and it was rejected because of not illuminating it’s tube other wise it’s high voltage, input power was ok. Company placed next order only one model. Later Company decided to find a new Factory and sourcing team started searching new Factory for ‘Insect Killer’ when sourcing team find a new Factory they asked me for specification I have given them specification that i prepared with the help of  ‘Factory’s  given data and my collection of testing data at Factory to office manager. I prepared comparison report of last order’s sample with a sample of new Factory I just found different in ‘high voltage’ between them and ‘with  number of screw’.  This blog is going to talk about a product of small home appliances ‘Rice Cooker’. I still remember first shipment of Rice Cooker from China to Riyadh when concerned lady of a Factory 🏭 pick me at Guangzhou South Railway Station to Factory. When I inspected ‘goods’ as per given specification in a ‘Performance Invoice’ (PI) that confirmed with both supplier & buyer and according to ‘SASO’ standard.This product was new for me for inspection but I checked,tested and inspected during inspection I found quantity of inner pot was not same as per given confirmation. The representative of that Factory’s comment after rejection is that ‘My boss will become angry 😠 with me’ by the way according to procedure I informed my colleague who was a purchaser who is following this order. It has been noticed ,learned and listened that ‘Engineer means ‘Decision maker’ and should have ‘Engineering sense’ and I also agreed with it. Most important anyone can do anything but same thing performed by an Engineer 👨‍💻,is in easiest way and simple form not complicated and complex. My first manager when he was given charge of ‘Receiving Inspection Engineer 👨‍💻’ said ‘Faiz your job is critical job’ and he was so good 😊 who said that i will take you in your office’ .I still remember his sentence and after that all my boss after & after repeated same sentence. When any rejection happened with raw materials for me, it’s become very responsible to cross check, confirm reason of rejection, check more quantity,QC inspector’s comment is matching with my cross check reason of rejection or not.  When I was sited at my room suddenly I got a subject for writing a ‘Blog’ use of software in manufacturing. I have seen three software in manufacturing and trading industries (1) Odoo (2) Microsoft dynamics ERP (3) SAP I am going to start with ‘Odoo’ where I help to ‘Odoo’ consultant for design of ‘Quality Control’ part.‘Odoo’ is not only limited to one area or one department of an enterprise but whole enterprise.In this user need to enter data online so that it could be seen by other user that help to avoid physical activities and communication. The first question is that why and how ‘Supply Chain’ and ‘International trade’ come into practice. It was also exist before but now  every one adopting and doing practice. There are lots of risk into international trade that I got it from my company’s suppliers. There are three mode of payments (1) L/C (2) T/T (3) Cash.In L/C many options like L/C at sight,L/C at three months and six months. Most of Factories like T/T mode of payment.But many trading companies start business with placing orders in L/C at sight but later L/C with 3- months & six months.Factories also accept this kind of mode of payment to cooperate each other. One of my Factory’s supplier told me that how a container stuck at importing country’s port and lost payment. Factory accept order and shipped but his client didn’t clean custom’s and accept the container of goods.  I choose topic to discuss here that ‘Why China’s is successful in manufacturing and about 60% of total manufacturing from China’. China is a centre of Supply Chain. 1st I am started from a manufacturer of Saudi Arabia who is in trading business, OEM of ‘HITACHI’ , producing A/C of Split unit,Window A/C, Dessert Cooler,Free standing unit,Washing M/C, Refrigerator... Actually Saudi Arabia hasn’t enough worker from Saudi who can work hard.Engineer & Manager can easily find from there that’s why cheap worker hired from India,Bangladesh,Patna,Philipine and Nepal Raw materials and Machines is imported from overseas most of them from China . Today I am going share how to handle Manpower, how to get manpower, what’s the criteria of his skills and experience ,how to control them for their continuous contributions and how to avoid their leaving the job. How to take work and trained new hiring so that if experienced person left the job and he take place for him. It’s not easy to work at assembly line and any work shop of Factory because they have to work 8-9 hrs continuously by standing. Sometimes I observed that when there’s overtime they have to work more than 9 hrs.Most of them because of low paying salary become ready to work and someone declined for overtime. Some Factory has seasonal manufacturing of products. When there’s at peak of production every one work day & night and after that Factory have to pay them when there’s no production . ‘Quality of a Product or materials’ depends on given standards but also depends on manpower’s handling, manufacturing with a given specification.  I have seen at many assembly line in manufacturing industry has one or two more  extra manpower for cleaning and that’s indicate how much pollution is there in industry and how governments has given “pollution clearance”. Many Clients and Customers demanded ‘ imported materials’ for their products to be manufacturing here in India . There are many industries spending lots of money for the name of QA/QC but QA/QC failed to take necessary action. True speaking they are afraid to ‘hold’ and ‘reject’ the lots.
