“Manpower Management “ and “Technologies” in Electrical & Electronic Manufacturing
Today I am going share how to handle Manpower, how to get manpower, what’s the criteria of his skills and experience ,how to control them for their continuous contributions and how to avoid their leaving the job. How to take work and trained new hiring so that if experienced person left the job and he take place for him.
It’s not easy to work at assembly line and any work shop of Factory because they have to work 8-9 hrs continuously by standing. Sometimes I observed that when there’s overtime they have to work more than 9 hrs.Most of them because of low paying salary become ready to work and someone declined for overtime.
Some Factory has seasonal manufacturing of products. When there’s at peak of production every one work day & night and after that Factory have to pay them when there’s no production . Factory can’t lost them also because for next season Factory has to suffered with experienced and Skilled employees.
In that case Factory has to adopt other products also for manufacturing that when one plant is in shut down their employees and workers utilize in other plants.
I have seen in Factories if China they have also manpower issues because instead of working with standing in assembly line better to work at McDonald’s and other place where A/C is there.
In the Factory of Saudi Arabia I have seen there’s no issues of Manpower. There in Saudi Arabia I have seen happiness and enjoyment in their face. There’s good management system.
I have my own idea and suggestions that hire a good skilled worker with the capability of their skills fixed good salary so that they will work happy and what amounts Factories are paying as a ‘Overtime time’ add in workers salary and fixed two shifts of workers one is for day time and second for night shift.From this Worker will be happy. And rotate them either monthly or weekly. Means to say makes two team one for day and second for night.
Most of Factories still not fully using technology .
They’re still doin manual work . If any Factory is wanted to become fully automatic and using new technology , they need huge investment in the Factory and also maintaining cost.
