How I got chance to become a ‘Quality Control Engineer’

 Topic: how I become QC Engineer  :

I was hired for a Plant department in a largest and oldest Factory of a gulf which’s founded in 1935.When interview was held in New Delhi a man with formal dress were sitting for an interview I didn’t know and realized from where he is and what’s his position in this Company... he called a man to Riyadh and hand over his phone to me... I was talking to whom also I don’t know..but he asked some questions after replying him, he realized  that I am correct ...and given his opinion about me to my interviewer.. later in Riyadh when I started working as a Maintenance Engineer 👨‍💻 he told me that ‘I hired you’ ..

During salary negotiations I said my demand to him... he is so smart and brief me my salary by part in breaking such as that I thought the offered salary as per my demand.

When I reached Riyadh to join a company a secretary of a ‘Operation’ take me to his office... when I saw him in his office I surprised to see him in his ’Arabian’  look with a toop and sitting 🪑 in a big office that day I know he was a ‘Operation Director’...he asked me a question ‘how you’re feeling ? I said ‘my dream comes true’ , he asked  me about my last working experience and said ‘I don’t know your future..I was sited to near his office which is actual a secretary 👨‍💼 office...Many visitors come to me when he wasn’t in his office.. they told me to convey his messages to him.. I did so but he told me that you’re not my a ‘secretary’... he was planning a co-ordinator role for me.. but when a production engineer 👨‍💻 come to me and asked me about qualification and experience he said why he’s here instead of a Plant maintainance. I got visa for this company as a role of  ‘Maintenance Engineer’ written in my passport..Finally  my directly reporting manager come to me and take to me in his department he brought a Saudi technician to carry my computer 💻... I started learning there of shutdown maintenance,daily,monthly and quarterly maintenance of a Machine and all shop floor like Press shop,fin-coil section ...Paint shop section..Even my section head told about me to.. a Kerala based technician 👨‍🔧 that ‘Faiz is a good boy’... the technician conveyed to me..

I have transferring images from a camera to computer and suddenly I found many photos of his family and of many filipino girls ... I was looking them and my colleague a Saudi Engineer Syed Alzahrani also..suddenly my section head came to us..I am become nervous to see him because I was watching girls from his family and my hands was started shaking... syed was started laughing 😆 ..but nothing bad happened...

When I was sited near ‘OD’ office a man come to me and take me together at production floor where I explained how much I know about each area of production floor. Later I know he is from ‘Jordan’ with 25 years of experience in Gulf and he have been worked with current ‘CEO’ of a company together about he explained us that if any thing performed very well he will asked how it happened and how much it can be more better and if situation is so that it’s performance isn’t good why it happened but he did one thing in a Factory to increased salary of a employee every year.

Now a day a QC Manager called me to join ‘receiving Inspection Engineer 👨‍💻’ in a quality control but I said to him ‘No’ later a Filipino engineer 👨‍💻 come to my office in maintenance department who was going exit to his country ‘Filipine’ that that area is good . After going to him my senior a Filipino Electrical Engineer 👨‍💻 told me that that’s good department and he said about his realization that my English is good which will help me to work there and there’s not enough bosses like here.. Next day in the morning I went to QC Manager office he said let go I will drop you... I said no i will go by  myself.. after three months of training I worked independently there about 2- years.

I remembered about my QC Manager in a meeting room with TQM department....he said in a meeting to TQM Manager that “ it’s not a ‘Quran’ that cannot changed ... I think 🤔 he said in the context of  ‘Process & Procedure’ but what’s real he knows better....
